The AAUW Ann Arbor Board met on November 5, 2024, and unanimously approved the recommendation of the AAUW Funds Committee for the dispersal of $22,000 in net proceeds from the 2024 Book Sale as follows:

• $9000 to AAUW Greatest Needs Fund
• $5000 to CEW+ AAUW Ann Arbor Branch Used Book Sale Expendable Account Fund at the
  U of M.
• $1000 to CEW+ AAUW Ann Arbor Branch Used Book Sale Endowment Fund at the U of M.
• $3500 to the AAUW Ann Arbor Endowment Fund at EMU
• $3500 to the AAUW Ann Arbor Endowment Fund at WCC

Net proceeds are determined by the balance in the Book Sale Account at the end of September and after outstanding expenses to date have been paid.  Additionally, funds are reserved in the account to support expenses incurred prior to the 2025 sale.

Two outstanding AAUW-AA branch members were also selected by the committee for presentation at the winter and spring celebration luncheon events.  Their identities will be shared as they are presented at the luncheons.
